Indian Engineering Exports registered a growth of 7.39% year-on-year touching exports at US$ 9.99 billion in May 2024.
During May 2024, 23 out of 34 engineering sub-sectors saw positive year-on-year growth compared to the same period last year.
The top five export destinations that experienced positive growth in May 2024 were USA, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and UK.
North America and European Union remained India's topmost destinations for engineering exports with total share of 36% in India's total engineering exports during May 2024. West Asia and North Africa registered the highest growth in May 2024.
