EEPC INDIA was set up in 1955 under the sponsorship of Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India to promote exports of engineering goods, projects and services from India. The Council which initially started as a small outfit with few members has, during the course of the last five decades, established itself as the largest Export Promotion Council in India. Now it has a membership of nearly 13,000 Indian firms covering the entire spectrum of engineering industry consisting of large Corporate Houses, Small and Medium Enterprises, Trading Companies and also Business and Trade Associations. It is the first Export Promotion Organization in India to have received ISO-9002 certification from the world renowned organization KPMG. EEPC India is also the first organization in the country to have achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification from KPMG for designing and organizing exclusive Engineering Exhibitions abroad. The Council has also implemented ERP and boast of a website (www.eepcindia.org) which is updated on daily basis.
