About The Exhibition

The Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair is a trade fair organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, held annually at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Considering the importance of the geographical location and its importance as a gateway to the entire ASEAN and China Market of medical devices and health accessories and allied goods the 8th Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair has its own unique position. Servicing the healthcare sector is a flourishing business and the place to establish contact with trade buyers is the HKTDC Hong Kong International Medical Devices and Supplies Fair. More than 260 exhibitors engaged with over 10,000 buyers at the 2016 edition. There will be different thematic zones at the fair:

World of Healthcare: A brand new zone for healthcare products and services, showcasing health foods and beverages, nutrition supplements and healthcare services.
Rehabilitation & Elderly Care Zone: it covers mobility aids, monitoring devices, wheel chairs.
Hospital Equipment Zone: Exhibitors of electro-medical equipment, ultrasound & imaging equipment and surgical instruments.

Household Medical Products Zone: Showcases blood pressure monitors, sleep apnea recorders and fitness equipment, etc.
Physiotherapy Zone: Displays physiotherapy massage equipment and exercise-related products.
Medical Cosmetology Zone provides space for IPL devices and laser devices for beauty and dermatology applications.
Tech Exchange allows entrepreneurs and research facilities to show their innovations and new concepts.

WITH MSME-DI

The interested companies should also submit the requisite documents to concerned MSME Development Institute (MSME-DI).

The documents to be submitted with MSME DI:

  1. 1) Covering letter
  2. 2) Filled application form
  3. 3) Passport copies
  4. 4) Copy of EM Part II or UAM
  5. 5) Any other document they might ask to furnish

**After the participation, the unit can claim the admissible subsidy for space
rent and air fare by submitting the claim in prescribed format at concerned
MSME-DI within a period of two months from the closing day of the fair.

Benefit to the member-exporters

The Event is planned under the revised guidelines of ‘MATU’ scheme of Ministry of MSME, Government of India. The eligible MSE Units (Micro or Small manufacturer) will receive following Assistance from the Ministry of MSME & EEPC India:

  • Reimbursement of Participation Cost up to Rs. 1 Lac
  • Reimbursement of Airfare - 100% of the economy class air fare
    subject to maximum Rs.1.25 lakh or actual air fare paid, whichever is less
    (for one representative from each participating enterprise)
  • 3 Nights hotel accommodation Complementary per participant

(The limit of reimbursement amount is subject to the approval from Ministry of MSME)**

Selection criteria

Since limited space is available, selection of participation will be done strictly on first-come, first-served basis.

Cancellation of participation

Request for cancellation of participation will be accepted if EEPC India receives the same in writing on or before 28th April 2017. EEPC India shall not entertain any cancellation afterwards. Any cancellation after the due date shall result in forfeiture of the amount already paid on this account.
